How Much Should I plan to Spend? What is a wedding planner's cost?
My package prices start at $1,200.00. I have three primary packages available to clients. However, any package can be specifically tailored to meet your needs. I am willing to help with as little or as much as you need.
Yes! I have lived in the Madison area my entire life. I'm very familiar with local vendors and the going rates. I recommend vendors based on your style, needs and budget.
How many weddings do you do?
I typically do two weddings per month. I am not a wedding factory, therefore I do not do a wedding every weekend. Each and every wedding I take on I pour my heart into as if it were my own. I feel this allows the appropriate amount of time and attention needed for my clients.
I have had the privilege of helping dozens of couples plan and execute their wedding. Take a look at my gallery of past weddings here.
Do you offer wedding planning for LGBTQ+ couples?
Yes. Love is love and I love helping LGBT clients plan the wedding of their dreams. If you're looking for an LGBTQ+ wedding planner near you, reach out for a free quote.
How much control will we have?
You are the boss of your wedding!
It is a common myth that a wedding planner will take over your wedding. Some couples prefer to be very hands on, others do not. I work hard to develop unique ideas with professional vendors to create a one of a kind experience for you and your guests.
Part of my job is to make your wedding planning experience easier and more enjoyable and that is what I will strive to do.
Do you negotiate with vendors?
I will always try to get the best value for my clients. I simply recommend local vendors that I’ve personally worked with in the past and have had good experience with. Many of the vendors I work with regularly offer exclusive discounts to my clients.
Often times, a knowledgeable wedding coordinator will ultimately save you a lot of money, time and stress.
Do you travel?
Absolutely, I love to travel! Let me know your plans and we’ll work something out.
What is the process for hiring you?
I would like to set up a meeting either in person or over the phone to discuss more details about your wedding needs and expectations as well as the services available.
Once I have been notified you would like to hire me a contract will be designed outlining your specific needs. After reviewing it and signing it, a retainer fee is required to hold your wedding date.
How far in advance do you book out?
I book one full calendar year in advance. This is on a first come first serve basis. I do book up each year and unfortunately have to turn couples away, so please contact me today for a complimentary consultation. Dates are filling up quickly.
What is your fee schedule?
Half of the package price is required to reserve your wedding day.
The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding day.
Cash, checks and all major credit cards are accepted forms of payment.
